{Baby A. 6 days old} – Seattle Area Newborn Photographer

April 16th, 2010

Remember this gorgeous, expectant mama?  She had her baby and I was honored enough to capture Baby A in his first, sleepy moments in life.  Plus, I have a soft spot for brother-brother sibling shots and I was able to capture some nice moments between older brother and Baby A as well.  Enjoy the pictures! I photographed {the D. Family} this summer to celebrate their adorable boys turning three and one respectively.  In my experience three year olds are the best age to photograph!  Master T proved me right, and was a total ham for my camera.  I loved seeing his personality come out in the pictures.  Master D was your typical one year old and through lots of bribery, he allowed me to photograph him as well.  Here’s a peek into their session!

Meet {Master T}, age 3 and proud of it!

I hope everyone had a lovely Mother’s Day yesterday!  My little family and I went to Juanita Bay Beach in Kirkland to spend some family time.  I took out my camera and got “shoot from the hip” and do a more photojournalistic style photographer of my kids than I usually do.  It was really fun, and surprisingly relaxing to just go with the moment and capture all the enjoyment of the beach through my kids’ eyes.

My youngest son really enjoyed the sand

Nom nom nom tasty sand

What, do I have something on my face?

He also enjoyed walking around the sand.  Dad’s helping him balance since he wouldn’t drop the shovel

Obligatory baby on the beach picture

My oldest split his time either diligently working on his sand trenches

Or chasing the ducks down at the water’s edge.  He was too busy to look at the camera for me

A rare quiet moment reflecting with dad

This is usually the type of wrestling shenanigans that goes on in our household.  See the grip my youngest has on his brother’s hair?  Yeah, that’s 100% authentic hair gripping going on there.
