{Baby A. Two Weeks Old} Redmond Area Newborn Photographer

I’m very behind on my blog posting! This sweet family was actually shot back in September 2010. Baby A was adorable and so alert for a newborn. I have to admit, all the baby girl newborn sessions end up with very alert and sweet babies. Baby boy newborns tend to be sleepier. I guess girls really do want to have fun!

Meet Baby A.

Hello, pleased to meet you sweetness! Look at that eye contact for a newborn, so alert!

Taking a moment with dad

I love how little she looks in dad’s hands here.

I did manage to capture some sleeping shots as well.

Hello Miss A!

Big brother snuck in for a shot or two as well.

So much cuteness in one family.

Once outside she did cooperate to fall asleep

Mom and Baby A

The entire family. Thank you for letting me capture this moment for you!

I haven’t been to the Pacific Science Center very much, even now that I’m a parent.  We were invited to go with some good friends to celebrate their son’s birthday.  It was quite a treat!  I think the most fun was had in the butterfly exhibit.  Both my boys had butterflies land on their shirts, and they walked around very proudly displaying their little friends.  The birthday boy even had one land on his head!  He sported quite the fun butterfly mohawk along with a smile that stretched from ear to ear.  So if you are local, totally go, and take your kids!  They will have a blast.

The boys had a blast (literally!) playing with the outside water exhibits

The kids really enjoyed the caterpiller statue life

Samuel and the birthday boy!

Albert thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits as well

Giving me their best “blue steele” faces

Look!  A  butterfly landed on Albert.

He was so proud of his new little friend.

Samuel was very impressed by the brave little butterfly

Hey, at least one kid was smiling.

Samuel was so glad to have his own butterfly friend

Butterfly mohawk!

I had the pleasure of photographing {Baby O} a few weeks ago.  She was an adorable and super smiley girl, totally captivated by the whole picture taking process.  She also had this great head of hair that seemed to speak volumes about her personality as well.  Her mom was given a photography session from me as a baby gift from a friend, and while we tried to schedule her a newborn session, we weren’t able to connect until she was almost two months old. No matter, she was still bendy and poseable for me, as well as such a superstar little model!  I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Meet {Baby O}

I love it when little babies give me eye contact for the camera

Baby smiles caught on camera!

Sweet sleeping angel

Sweetest baby ever, loved her!

I love baby toes, and how they’re curled under here

Actually I justlove all the baby parts!

Being loved by mom

simply perfect {Baby O.}

My oldest son turned FIVE last week.  These last five years have brought more sleepless nights than I ever remembered having in my college days.  But it has also brought more joy from a little boy who has the most wonderful laugh in the world.  I could be having the worse day, but hearing him break into those infectious giggles totally turns my world around.  When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday photo shoot, he gleefully shouted “A superhero!  With lots of balloons”.  So we went to the party store to fulfill his wish.  I want to note that if you ever decide if you should spring for the extra cost to make sure your balloons stay floaty longer – definately do it!  Our balloons are still high and floating after a whole week of playing!

So here we go!  Happy Birthday my darling son.

How old are you?

Superhero for the day!

One of his favorite presents, he’s played with this sucker every single day.

Here come the balloons!

He had a grand ol’ time playing hide and seek in the big bouquet.

Look!  It’s a boy shaped balloon!  :)

Happy birthday my sweet little man.
