I had the pleasure of photographing Master A., his parents and extended family last fall when he turned one. His parents brought him again to me for his 18 month pictures, and it was fun seeing just how much he had grown. He was very stoic for the camera, but I was able to coax a few smiles out of him. We also got to go outside and get some nice family shots as well.
I tried something new in my processing with a couple of his pictures. Normally I do a very clean process of the picture, but something about his little outfit and the toys he was playing with made me think of a slightly older time. Enjoy the pictures!
Meet {Master A}

This was his expression for most of the photoshoot

Look, an almost smile!

Another half smile – boy was he hard to crack!

Full out giggle – look at those lashes!

Playing with some wooden blocks, I love how this picture looks like something from back when I was a little kid. In fact I think I have a similar picture somewhere of me!

Hello world!

Family time. Look at how he’s holding his dad’s hand – I love it!

Look, finally a big smile with mom

Not sure how he feels about being left in the grass

{Master A} on the move!
